Our leadership carries well over 40 years of experience in serving families which began on the streets of San Francisco in the heart of the Mission District with faith based interventions and practices to transform and heal youth and families.
Over the last few years our staff has gained a wealth of experience in Juvenile Justice, Gang Interventions & Prevention, Drop-Out Prevention and Violence Prevention.
The Mission City Project (TMCP) was newly established in March 2020 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit Public Benefit and Public Charity 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) with the State of California, IRS, and the Department of Justice.
Considered the new kids on the block as a newly formed nonprofit, our founder Pastor Rudy is well versed on best practices to serve youth and families impacted by violence and substance abuse which has led many to juvenile justice and incarceration.
Our experience and training to serve families as Faith Center in San Fernando, Case Management for Los Angeles Mayors Gang Intervention Program GRYD, through Champions In Service In-House Auditor for Job Training Opportunity Center (JTOC) and as CIS Project Director for the Los Angeles County YDD Program now know as YD (Youth Development) has given us the experience and know how to serve our communities better.
